NOMINATION GUIDELINES
The Dan David Prize is looking for early- and mid-career scholars, active within and beyond the academy, who have made and will continue to make a significant contribution to the study of the past.
The Dan David Prize will hold an open nomination process each year to collect a pool of candidates. The Dan David Prize Board will determine the winners based on a shortlist of finalists compiled by a dedicated Selection Committee. Prize winners are required to participate in an award ceremony and related programming, which will take place in mid-May in Tel Aviv, where the Dan David Prize is headquartered.
Nominations for the 2022 Prize are now open and we will be accepting nominations until Nov. 1, 2021. Anyone can nominate. Self-nominations will not be considered.
The Dan David Prize awards up to nine prizes of $300,000 each year to outstanding early-and-mid-career scholars and practitioners in the historical disciplines. The Prize is given in recognition of the winner’s achievements as well as their potential for future excellence.
