The International Undergraduate Scholarship is awarded to high achieving&nbsp;international students in recognition of their excellent academic credentials.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">The scholarship will afford beneficiaries the opportunity to work with many talented and inspiring researchers at the university. Applicants are to note that candidates will be selected based on academic merit and ranked according to their results achieved in the final year of their high school studies to determine the value of the scholarship.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">Eligibility and Selection Criteria:<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">To be considered for the&nbsp;Melbourne International Undergraduate Scholarship 2021, applicants are to meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li1\">Applicants must be a citizen of a country other than Australia and New Zealand and not a permanent resident of Australia.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Applicants must have received an offer for an undergraduate course at the University of Melbourne.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Applicants must not have previously undertaken any tertiary studies (excluding extension studies completed as part of a year 12 program)<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Applicants must have obtained good grades in their high school certificates or its equivalent.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Applicants must demonstrate strong leadership potential and must be able to interact with people of diverse background.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p3\">This scholarship provides either a:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li1\">$10,000 tuition fee remission in the first year of an undergraduate degree<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">50 per cent fee remission for the three-year duration of an undergraduate degree, or<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">100 per cent fee remission for the three-year duration of an undergraduate
